Well, I cushioned myself last week with a note about possible lack of blogging presence in the month of September. Turns out I spoke too soon! (Never done that before. Nope. Like, I totally never said the Karl Malone-led Utah Jazz would beat MJ and his Bulls in 1997. Or ’98. Uh, yeah.)
Anyway, this week I’m participating in Susan May Warren’s MBT Voices Pitch Fest. ‘Cause it’s only one week ’til the big ACFW conference and lots of us writers are getting antsy-schmantsy about pitching our beloved WIPs to editors and agents. Today Susie kicked off our Pitch Fest blog hop here. Tomorrow, I’ll blog about the elements of a premise – the two- to five-sentence blurb about your book. At the same time, Beth Vogt will blog about honing in on the core of your story at The Writing Road and Teri Dawn Smith will touch on dramatic irony at the MBT Ponderers. And later, Susie will provide some pitching etiquette do’s and don’ts. Then we’ll culminate with some pitching practice at Monday night’s regular MBT Voices chat.

Oh, and in case you missed it, yesterday I blogged at the MBT Ponderers about two of my favorite subjects: Oliver and God. Ooh, make that three subjects because I did eventually bring it around to talk about writing.
