Pretty, pretty new site!

There was a time in my life when I thought maybe I could/should/would build my own new website.

Then I realized I was crazy.

And friends recommended Jones House Creative. Best decision ever!

So this is my new cyber home. I LOVE it, and I hope you do, too. Feel free to poke around.

And to celebrate, I thought I’d do a little housewarming giveaway. So here’s what’s up for grabs in the package: A copy of my book (of course), Dunkin Donuts pumpkin spice coffee (i.e. heaven for your mouth) and a $15 Starbucks gift card (because why offer one form of coffee awesomeness when I can offer two?)…

Entering is easy: Just leave a comment below and tell me something to make me smile…anything. I’ll do the drawing next Tuesday and announce the winner next Wednesday. Want extra entries? Share about the new website and the giveaway on FB or Twitter (and be sure to let me know you did so in the comments below. Sorry, I’m on the road, so I don’t have time to throw together a Rafflecopter.)

Later, alligators!

    1. Melissa, I had already decided Jone House Creative was who I want to use when I publish because I kept seeing author sites that I liked and it always seemed to be JHC. They are doing quality designs.

    4. Love the sight and REALLY want to read your book! Not very original on the smile factor, but it’s early and not enough caffeine, I guess, but you go ahead and wear those jeans & Coldplay T for one more day if it makes you happy (and smile!)

    7. Melissa,
I love the new site. Easy navigation. I think viewers will enjoy the ease of it. I love the pictures. They do make a more personalized statement. Can I bring a smile to your face? I hope so. Guess what? I just finished your book. Loved it. 5 out of 5 stars. I have left a review on amazon and will head to Goodreads next. Hope you have a wonderful day. Blessings to you, Katrina

    9. So, here’s my go at making you laugh: “Mexican” dresses made of curtains I think, a little green skirt someone and her friends made a little sister wear, and I’m pretty sure there were ice cream pails and heads involved. I also love that I know a published writer and I can’t wait to read your book!!!!

I was JUST thinking about that. Cannot wait…I don’t know if my heart is ready for it, though. I mean, I’m older now than I was when 24 was first on. What if my heart can’t take the intensity? 🙂

Whoa, Tara, long time, no talk! Pumped that you’re an avid Christian fiction reader. Hope you enjoy the book. (And if you still live in W.C., there’s a release party comin’ to town on Saturday. Everyone’s invited!)

    15. Hi Melissa! I just want to say that your book sounds awesome and funny! I’m hoping that I can buy it soon because if it’s as funny as you are then it will be a priceless novel that I will reread probably every year! I love a good romance with a strong spiritual message and good sense of humor!

P.S.- You said something to make you smile and I couldn’t help but think of baby boys when I came on your website! It has the perfect pastel colors that are usually on cute baby boys which makes an ultra cute website! 😉 Hehe!
