I’ve broken just about every blogging rule in the book in the past five or six months.
I’ve posted only sporadically.
I’ve topic-hopped like nobody’s business.
And I’ve changed the design three or four times.
Probably I should win an award for Most Rebellious Blogger. (And I’d be happy to accept my prize in cash…or Diet Coke with Lime.)
But, I think we’ve finally settled on a design I’m cool with. I’m still a little freaked out about my photo at the top of the page, but that’s what a scroll bar is for. And I still need to add contact info and a brief “About Me/Info/Bio/Why in the World this Blog Exists” note for the right-hand bar. But we’re almost there.

And so is my commitment to blogging. I’m trying, right? I’ve quoted members of the ridiculously awesome Coldplay before on Tag(g)lines and the same quotes apply again:

Tons of enthusiasm happening here, my friends. (Sidenote to Coldplay: I need a new album, gents. “Christmas Lights” totally made my December, but it just seems soooo long since summer 2008, the summer of “Whoa, Viva La Vida is the best album in the entire history of music!”)
I do, though, wonder if the site’s still missing something…or if there are further blogging rules I should attempt to follow (and likely break). If you’ve got any web wisdom for me, throw it at me in the comments. I promise virtual hugs in return. 🙂

Loving the new look, my friend. And the only thing I can say is write more often. But that’s entirely selfish on my part. I just love reading anything you write. Go ahead and transcribe the words off the back of a cereal box. I’m good with that.

Thanks, Beth! You’re sweet…I will try to write more often. I even halfway slightly maybe considered COMMITTING to blogging twice a week. Still mulling…in the meantime, pretty sure I’ve got some Peanut Butter Cap’n Crunch, so I’ll see if there’s anything interesting on the back of the box…:)
