*Here to Stay* cover reveal

I’ve got a pretty cover for my second book, Here to Stay, which releases next May!

And look, I’m not a huge squealer (or so I like to think) but honestly, there may have been squealing—lots of it— when I saw this one. So. Adorable. Like, adorable adorable.

If you’ve read my first book, Made to Last, then you’ll recognize the name of one of the main characters in Here to Stay—Blake Hunziker. (Actually he goes by Blaze in the first book. Because he has issues setting accidental fires. Totally not drawing on personal experience there.) The heroine of the story is Autumn Kingsley—a hometown girl, sorta George Bailey-ish in her desperate desire to ditch town and see the world.

I’m turning in my rewrites on this story in a couple days. At which point, fair warning, there will most likely be more squealing. Or maybe singing. To the tune of “We are the Champions.”

    1. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!!! I’m squealing right along with you! Everything about this cover is perfect! I especially love the background colors! I hadn’t really created a mental picture for Blake but this guy feels right! Ahhhh! Can’t wait!! Can I post this on my blog?!

        Yay, I’m glad you like it, Abbi. You know it’s funny, I’ve never had a super clear picture of Blake in my head either. My first hero, Matthew, was like super solid in my mind and when I saw the model they used for him, it was uncannily perfect. But I never really had Blake firmed up in my mind…now I do thanks to the cover!

        Oh and sure, feel free to post it on your blog. 🙂

        Thanks, Laurie. I have to confess: I sort of thought the same thing. Then I decided maybe I was biased. Haha! But seriously, BHP covers in general are just awesome! Becky Wade and Victoria Bylin both have contemporary romances coming out in May 2014 as well and their covers are SO cute, too!

        Ohhh, I want to come soooo much. But sadly…I just can’t. Family wedding that weekend…I was thinking about trying to fit in both, but siblings that I rarely get to see are going to be in town beforehand. So I just can’t skip spending time with them.

        Still, waaaaah for missing it.

        Thanks, Keli. I’m glad you say so because I’m definitely still squealing internally. Can’t do it verbally at the moment because heads would turn…but yeah, internal squealing still happening.

    25. I LOVE THIS COVER!!!!!! Seriously. I want to be there. Fall is my favorite and the picture is so perfect and they look so happy and I’d totally pick this up. I would have squealed too. (and maybe I did) LOL
