Hey friends! I'm talking a little blogging break just for the day as I finish up a three-day writing sprint. It's sort of like an Olympic sprint minus the short shorts and well, the running...but plus a ton of caffeine, my favorite pajamas and quality time with my laptop. Somewhere Usain Bolt is wishing his sprints were half as exciting.
See you back here on Wednesday with a fun Q&A from awesome author Regina Jennings!
Happy writing day, MTagg! May your jammies never bunch, your coffee never cool and your words never stop. :D
ReplyDeleteYou go, Girl! Hope you get a lot done on this your "Pajama Day". And do you know Usain Bolt's story? He was captured by the militia while he was at church when he was only 5-6, watched 2 of the boys murdered when the tried to escape. Then he finally escaped to a refugee camp where he had nothing to do, so he ran. And ran. And ran-inside the camp, then outside it. It was his running that got him out of the refugee camp and to America. Very interesting story. So you be a Usain Bolt today!
ReplyDeleteI need to start my sprint too...yikes. Have fun with yours!
ReplyDeleteWe're all here at the finish line cheering you on!! Go, go, go!! :)
ReplyDeleteJust said a prayer that you finish strong!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo!!!! You can do it, you can do it!
ReplyDeleteWishing you well on the writing, Melissa.
ReplyDeleteI can just picture you hurtling to the finish line (more coordinated and w/ smoother rhythm than you think). I'm also sure it's all good stuff. I think maybe smaller bite inspirations will come even during work weeks and you'll find yourself making more forward progress than you thought/hoped. Blessings!
